Davos Forum : Jhinaoui meets with Russian deputy prime minister

On the sidelines of his participation in the 48th session of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, from 23 to 25 January, Minister of Foreign Affairs KhemaA�es Jhinaoui met with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich.

According to a statement published Thursday by the Department of Foreign Affairs, the meeting provided the occasion to discuss ways to develop Tunisian-Russian cooperation and to review the next bilateral event, including the meeting of the Tunisian-Russian joint commission expected in the coming months.

Preparations for the FIFA World Cup in which the Tunisian team will participate were also on the agenda of the meeting.

During this meeting, Jhinoui underlined Tunisia’s will to develop cooperation relations with Russia and to make the most of all the available cooperation opportunities.

“Tunisia aspires to develop relations with Russia and make the most of all available ooperation opportunities,” he said.

For his part, the Russian Deputy Prime Minister commended the process of reform initiated by Tunisia in all areas, emphasising in this regard, his country’s will to promote relations with Tunisia in all areas.
