E-commerce: EcomConnect Hub launches activities

(TAP) – The ecomConnect Hub Tunisia, a virtual and physical centre launched, Thursday, its activities aimed at building the technical capacity of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSME) to boost their online sales.

Initiated by the International Trade Centre (ITC) in collaboration with the Ministry of Trade and Export Development, this hub offers participating enterprises an e-commerce programme rich in content and events.

The programme also seeks to facilitate access to international markets through e-commerce training and a range of events to be held at the Export Promotion Centre (CEPEX).

The programme, which targets Tunisian MSME, includes a set of technical webinars on e-commerce: “E-commerce: How to get started.”

In a first phase, four free open webinars were scheduled to help companies start their e-commerce activity.

They address issues such as the transition from physical to online business, the various e-commerce tools and social selling strategies.

Enterprises that complete participation in the first phase can apply to continue the learning process in the second phase.
