Earth tremor of 2 degrees magnitude registered in Jendouba

An earth tremor measuring 2 degrees on the Richter scale was registered on Tuesday at 3.18 p.m. in Jendouba governorate (some 7km north of Fernena delegation).

It was felt by the local inhabitants, the National Institute of Meteorology (INM) said.

It was located at 36.72 degrees latitude and 8.69 degrees longitude, according to the preliminary analyses of the INM’s seismological stations.
