Egyptian PM expected Thursday in Tunis

Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly is expected Thursday in Tunis on a two-day official visit. He is set to attend the 17th session of the High Joint Commission.

Premier Najla Bouden and Madbouly will co-chair works of the joint commission which will bring together the two countries’ delegations, the Prime Ministry said.

They will also chair works of the Tunisian-Egyptian business forum due on Thursday with attendance of representatives of employers, economic actors and business operators. A cultural event is on the agenda as part of the Tunisian-Egyptian Year of Culture (2021/22).

The 17th session will offer the opportunity to strengthen relations of cooperation and foster a “permanent” partnership.

A number of agreements designed to develop the regulatory framework of relations will be signed, the Prime Ministry further said.
