Eight people died of the coronavirus in Manouba during the last 24 hours, while 345 others tested positive for the virus.

This takes the case tally in the region to 23,009, including 661 fatalities, 4,095 active cases and 18,253 recoveries, according to a report published Tuesday by the Local Health Directorate.

The active cases are distributed as follows: 1,161 cases in Manouba, 803 cases in Oued Ellil, 678 cases in Tebourba, 436 cases in Mornaguia, 377 cases in Daouar Hicher, 370 cases in Djedeida, 137 cases in El Battan and 133 cases in Borj Amri.
