The volume of harvested grain in El Kef reached 492,000 quintals for the 2020-2021 season, said head of the guidance and agricultural production department at the local committee of agricultural development Hassan Nhaili.

Output consists of 460,000 quintals of wheat and 32,000 quintals of barley, he added.

These figures are below projections which put the overall production at 1.400 million quintals of wheat.
