El Kef: Towards strengthening of mixed projects with department of Seine-Maritime

Pascal Martin, President of the French Department of Seine-Maritime, stressed on Tuesday his region’s commitment to promote cooperation with the Governorate of El Kef through strengthening joint projects and the exchange of expertise in various fields.

During a visit to the Governorate of El Kef, he expressed will to develop partnership in certain sectors including environment, health, culture and civil protection.

Martin said the planned greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction project in the region will have a positive impact on environment and the quality of life in the governorate, adding that studies on the project have been completed.

Seine-Maritime is a department of Normandy with a surface area of 6,277 km2 and 711 municipalities. With 1,257,920 inhabitants it ranks 14th among the hundred French departments in number of inhabitants.
