Eni donates medical equipment worth 500 thousand dinars to Nabeul hospitals

(TAP) – Medical equipment worth 500 thousand dinars was donated by the Italian oil company Eni based in Tazerka (Korba delegation) to the hospitals of the Nabeul governorate.

 

This donation is part of the private sector’s support for the region’s hospitals, said Nabeul Governor Rida Mlika.

 

The equipment consists of 8 oxygen beds, 2 IC beds in addition to other medical equipment, the official said, pointing out that 80% of the aid is to be used in combating COVID-19.

 

Besides, 665 more infections had been reported from 2,213 conducted tests, according to an updated report of the local health directorate in Nabeul.

 

In the same vein, 8 further deaths were recorded over the past 24 hours, taking the death toll to 913.

 

Thus, the region has hit a caseload of 34,836, including 24,841 recoveries.

 

According to the same source, 242 patients are currently being treated in the various hospitals of the governorate.
