Prime Minister Najla Bouden on Friday evening received European Union (EU) Ambassador in Tunis Marcus Cornaro.
The collaboration projects between Tunisia and the EU and means to speed up their implementation were at heart of the meeting, said a Prime Ministry press release on Saturday.
Cornaro reaffirmed on the occasion, that the EU continues to support Tunisia in its reform process.
In a tweet posted on Saturday, the European diplomat described as “very timely” the exchange he had with the PM on the partnership between Tunisia and the European Union.
The meeting had been an opportunity to review “joint projects of cooperation” and to reiterate the EU’s “support for the reforms undertaken in Tunisia,” the diplomat pointed out.
