Exports of dates: 7.1% growth in revenue until end of September

 

The export revenues of Tunisian dates have recorded, until the end of September 2022, an increase of 7.1%, compared to the same period of 2021, to reach 503.7 million dinars, said the National Observatory of Agriculture (Onagri) in its monthly bulletin of October.

 

The quantities of dates exported have also increased by 12%, reaching 89.7 thousand tons.

 

According to Onagri, 80.6% of the quantities exported are the variety Deglet ennour, or 72.3 thousand tonnes for a value of 472.3 million TND.

 

It added that Morocco is the 1st importer of Tunisian dates, with a quantity of 19.7 thousand tonnes and a value of 125.8 million DT.
