Tunisian fashion designer and art director Salah Barka will represent Tunisia in the TEX-MED ALLIANCES Seminar and Business Meetings on “Mediterranean Fashion Styles,” due next December 1 in Alexandria (Egypt), the Textile Technical Centre (CETTEX) said on Wednesday.
Organised by the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Egypt (GACIC), this event will bring together a panel of fashion experts, designers and textile industry entrepreneurs from 7 countries.
“Matchmaking meetings will be held on the occassion with the paricipation of representatives of the whole textile value chain.
Companies from Tunisia, Jordan, Palestine, Egypt, Spain, Italy and Greece will participate in person to seek synergies and opportunities for business, cooperation and collaboration,” a TEX-MED ALLIANCES statement reads.
This project in funded by the European Union (EU) through the 2014-2020 ENI CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme.
