Financial Inclusion Observatory’s website launched

The Central Bank of Tunisia (French: BCT) Thursday announced the launch of the Financial Inclusion Observatory’s website ( ) which helps consumers and concerned players access information on financial services and products and their cost.

The website, which is being finalised, puts forward qualitative and quantitative indicators that provide a measure of the cost of financial services and an appraisal of customer satisfaction and financial inclusion. Studies and reports on financial services and their quality are also made available.

The Baking Services Observatory, set up in 2006, saw its prerogatives extended to financial inclusion; it became the Financial Inclusion Observatory under law n2016-35 dated April 25, 2016.

Article 94 of the aforementioned piece of legislation states that the Observatory’s scope of action covers all data in relation to the access, use and quality of financial services.
