FIPA, Novation City sign partnership agreement to support foreign investors

A cooperation and partnership agreement was signed by the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA-Tunisia) and Novation City, Sousse competitiveness cluster, FIPA said.

This agreement is intended to “establish the framework for partnership in areas related to the support of foreign investors.” This will foster job creation and local development, the invesment authority further said.

The agreement was inked by FIPA Director General Abdelbasset Ghanmi and Director General of Novation City Hichem Turki, in the presence of Japan’s Ambasador to Tunisia Shinsuke SHIMIZU and President of the Tunisian-Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hedi Ben Abbes.

The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of a conference held on October 14 in Sousse in the runup to the 8th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD) which Tunisia will be hosting in 2022.
