(TAP) – A fire broke out on Friday near the A1 highway linking Tunis and Hammamet, at the level of Mornag, the National Guard General Directorate said.

The perimeter of the fire currently reaches five kilometres (from kilometre 10 to km 15 of the Tunis-Hammamet highway).

Due to the dense smoke, the National Guard calls on drivers to be very vigilant and urges reducing speed and observing safety distances.
