First flight of pilgrims departs from Djerba-Zarzis international airport

The first flight of pilgrims carrying Tunisian pilgrims from southern Tunisia, on Saturday, took off from Djerba Zarzis airport to the holy sites.

230 pilgrims from the governorate of Tataouine and Gabes were aboard this first flight. Two other flights from the international airport of Djerba-Zarzis are scheduled on August 20 and 23.

Pilgrims from governorate of Gabes arrived at Djerba Zarzis the airport aboard an airplane.

The Minister of Religious Affairs was present at the departure of the first flight of pilgrims to the holy places in order to learn about the arrangements made to ensure the best conditions for pilgrims.
