(TAP) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Othman Jerandi met Thursday with Chinese Ambassador to Tunisia Zhang Jianguo.

The meeting focused on preparations for the first Arab-China Summit due on December 9 in the Saudi capital, the ministry said.

“Thie summit signals a qualitative mutation in the process of Chinese-Arab cooperative relations,” the two officials said. It is expected to put forward projects, initiatives and investment opportunities likely to boost economic cooperation between China and Arab countries.”
