FM Mohamed Ali Nafti to Undertake Working Visit to Germany for Diplomatic Consultations

Berlin: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Mohamed Ali Nafti is set to embark on a two-day working visit to Berlin, Germany, scheduled for March 24-25. The visit comes at the invitation of his German counterpart, Johann Wadephul, and aims to strengthen the longstanding relations between Tunisia and Germany.

According to Agence Tunis Afrique Presse, this visit will serve as a platform for in-depth consultations to bolster the friendship and cooperation that have been nurtured between the two countries since Tunisia's independence. The diplomatic mission also marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Tunisia and Germany, highlighting the enduring partnership between the nations.

During his stay, Minister Nafti will engage in a working session with his German counterpart Johann Wadephul. The agenda also includes meetings with several high-ranking German officials and representatives from think tanks that specialize in international relations. Additionally, Nafti aims to connect with German economic stakeholders to explore further avenues of cooperation.

A noteworthy part of Minister Nafti's visit will be a meeting with members of the Tunisian community in Germany, hosted at the Embassy of Tunisia in Berlin. This gathering underscores the importance of maintaining strong ties with the Tunisian diaspora.
