Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar, met on Wednesday with new ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil in Tunis, Fernando José de Abreu, who handed over to him a copy of his credentials.
Ammar stressed, during the meeting, the solid relations binding the two friendly countries, based on mutual trust and the tradition of bilateral consultation on regional and international issues, said a statement issued Wednesday by the Foreign Ministry.
For his part, the new Brazilian ambassador expressed his country’s willingness to further boost friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries in all fields, to serve their mutual interests, and for Tunisia and Brazil to pursue coordination on all international and regional issues of common interest.
