Four died of the coronavirus and 175 contracted the virus in Kasserine governorate during the last 24 hours, according to a report published by the Local Health Directorate on Wednesday.

The caseload in the region has therefore risen to 36,425, including 1,083 fatalities and 59 patients hospitalised, deputy director of primary health at the Local Health Directorate Moncef Mhamdi told TAP.

The incidence rate in the region has now reached 100 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, he added.
