Framework agreement between LTDH and IADH inked

A framework agreement was signed on Tuesday between the Tunisian League for Human Rights (LTDH) and the Arab Institute for Human Rights (IADH) on co-operation and the establishment of a training programme for the benefit of the League staff.

By virtue of this agreement, the LTDH officials will benefit from training sessions on public and individual freedoms as well as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

“The aim is to equip the league staff with the necessary tools and mechanisms to help them carry out their mission properly,” said LTDH President Jamel Moslem on the fringes of the signing ceremony.

For his part, IADH President Abdelbasset Ben Hassan pointed out that this agreement is part of fostering the historical relations binding the two structures, particularly in the field of entrenching the culture of human rights.
