The event witnessed the participation of thousands of party supporters, who expressed their appreciation for Mr. Osei Kuffour's ongoing dedication to the party, despite having lost a closely contested parliamentary primary to Mr. Asante-Boateng. During a brief presentation ceremony, Mr. Osei Kuffour emphasized the importance of unity within the party, urging all members to contribute to the party's efforts to se cure a third term in office. "My love for the New Patriotic Party is unconditional and not predicated on whether I am the Parliamentary Candidate or not, it is pure and innate," he affirmed. He further stated his intention to continue providing support and mobilizing resources from friends to ensure the party's continued success both in the constituency and nationally. The Managing Director of Ghana Post highlighted the NPP's commitment to social development, citing programs like Free Senior High School as examples of the party's impact on the people of Ghana. He encouraged party members and supporters to actively contribute to the party's operations, rather than relying solely on headquarters for resources. "Together we can generate the financial muscle to fuel our campaigns nationwide," he said, suggesting that if every party member and sympathizer were to donate a cedi daily, it would significantly bolster the party's financial resources.
