Funeral of Tunisian technician Khaled Tinsa killed in Cameroon

It is in an atmosphere of deep sadness that the Tunisian technician Khaled Tinsa killed, on March 20, 2018, in Cameroon, following a hostage taking, was led, Monday evening, to his last home, in Tebourba, his hometown, in the presence of a large crowd that came to share the pain of the family of the deceased.

Was present at the funeral, the director of consular conventions advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, alongside the delegate Tebourba.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs accompanied by the governor of Manouba went Tuesday night to the family of the deceased to offer condolences.

On March 15, an armed group abducted two Tunisians, Khaled Tinsa and Mehrez Aouadi, in southwestern Cameroon. They are two employees of a Tunisian public works company who worked on a road construction site.

On March 20, during the intervention of the Cameroonian army, Khaled Tinsa was killed. Engineer Mehrez Aouadi was released. He returned to Tunisia on March 25th. On the same day, the remains of Khaled Tinsa were repatriated.

The family of the defunct asks that light be shed on the circumstances of the death of its son.

Khaled Tinsa was 53 years old and father of three children.
