21 more people in the governorate of Gabes have tested positive for the coronavirus following the publication of the results of 101 tests.
The new infections were discovered in Gabes-south (7 cases), Mareth (7 cases), Gabes-city (3 cases), Oudhref (3 cases) and Metouia (1 case).
The number of cases of infection in the region has reached 28,374 cases since the outbreak of the virus, including 27,841 recovered patients, according to the latest statistics published by the Regional Health Directorate in Gabes.
According to the same source, 34 COVID patients are currently admitted to hospitals in the governorate of Gabes where the incidence rate has now reached 133 cases of infection per 100 thousand inhabitants.
