33 more cases of infection by the Coronavirus have been reported in the governorate of Gabes in the last 24 hours, following the publication of the results of 151 tests, bringing to 28, 898 the total number of infected people in the region since the outbreak of the virus.

The new positive cases are distributed as follows: 17 cases in Oudhref, 7 cases in El Hamma, 4 cases in Nouvelle-Matmata, 3 cases in Metouia, 1 case in West Gabes and 1 case in South Gabes.

Moreover, a total of 28, 672 patients have recovered from the infection in the region where 226 people are still carriers of the virus.

According to the same source, 11 Covid patients are currently admitted to hospitals in the governorate of Gabes where the prevalence of infection has now risen to 56 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants.
