The University of Gabes has signed a partnership agreement with the University of Sabratha in Libya, which covers the aspects of exchange of information, experiences and scientific publications in the field of research and achievement of joint research projects.
The agreement also provides for the establishment of an exchange policy at the level of researchers, experts and teachers in all scientific fields of common interest, the supervision of students at master and doctorate levels, and the encouragement of cultural and sports meetings between the two universities.
It also aims to work towards the joint organisation of seminars and scientific conferences of common interest, to encourage the co-supervision of master and doctoral programmes, and to consolidate cooperation between the two parties.
The agreement also stipulates joint cooperation for the establishment of a unified mechanism between the two universities in the field of e-learning, which allows students and faculty members to access scientific material on the servers of both parties and to work towards raising the ranking of both universities at local and international levels.
