Accra: Ghanaian swimming sensation Jada Yankey clinched 13 medals at the recently concluded Africa Zone 2 Aquatic Swimming Championship, making a splash at the Borteyman Sports Complex in Accra. According to Ghana News Agency, the 12-year-old prodigy excelled across various categories, including 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m, and 800m freestyle, alongside competing in the 400m individual medley. Jada also participated in mixed relay events featuring butterfly and breaststroke disciplines. Despite competing against swimmers aged between 13 and 20, Jada's superior technical skills and remarkable composure in the pool stood out, as she outperformed her older and experienced competitors.
