Ghazi Jribi: “phenomenon of corruption threatens state stability

Minister of Justice Ghazi Jribi said that “corruption, a phenomenon that threatens the state now, requires to combine the efforts of all the living forces of the country to eradicate it, within the framework of the law”.

In a press statement Monday, on the sidelines of his participation in a workshop in Djerba (governorate of Mednine) on pilot experiences in support of prisons, Jribi said that the state is making considerable “efforts ” to deal with the phenomenon of corruption in all its forms and to stand in the way of all those who constitute a threat to the State and its stability.

“In all democracies, the fight against corruption requires security, judicial and constitutional institutions to discharge their responsibilities properly,” he said, adding that the establishment of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary will the help judiciary system to better control the situation, be more effective and become more involved in efforts to address the challenges facing the country.
