The Goethe Institut announced a new cycle of its cinema programme on the theme “Filmklub: Seeking Happiness.” The event will run from March 28 to April 3 in Carthage.
This cycle will pay tribute to women film directors . Agnès Varda’s Happiness will be the first film in a series to be screened for the first time in Tunisia.
Eight films (3 short and 5 feature films) will be screened. The short films are Noé, Gramercy and More Happiness.
The Filmklub includes documentaries as well as short and fiction films from various countries.
Additionnally, the Goethe Institut will also organise debats, workshops as well as question and answer sessions with artists, journalists, activists, reserchers and civil society activists.
