Danfa: The Reverend Daniel Kwesi Ayim, Pastor in charge of the Mount Moriah Congregation of the Presbyterian Church, has urged Christians to be focused and grow in purpose. "Growth should be purposeful, we reap what we sow and must be focused on growing in righteousness," he said. Rev Ayim was preaching at the aged Sunday service on the theme: "Ageing Gracefully; Caring as Missions."

According to Ghana News Agency, the Senior Citizens Sunday is observed by the Presbyterian Church to honor the aged within the Church. Rev Ayim advised the youth to be careful in their deeds because ageing is a reality. "As Christians, we should age in righteousness, God promises fruitfulness even in old age for the righteous," he added.

Rev Ayim emphasized that the care of the elderly should be part of the Christian mission. He stated that the Christian community must be concerned and take care of widows. He admonished the congregation to take care of their parents, especially their aged parents. "Do not neglect your parents in old age," he said.

A prayer was offered for the aged, 70 years and above, in the congregation.
