“Guinean market, opportunity for services sector” (CEPEX official)

The Guinean market is a real opportunity for the sector of high added-value services, affirmed Chief Director at the Exports Promotion Centre (CEPEX) Tarek Kebir.

These sectors are the health, higher education, communication technologies and transport, he mentioned in a statement to TAP on the fringes of a Tunisian delegation’s visit to Guinea on the occasion of the inauguration of the Tunis/Conakry direct air route.

Kebir specified that, in the long run, the two countries can achieve joint bilateral or trilateral investments, provided that Guinea guarantees the adequate infrastructure notably the elimination of customs duties and transfer of profits.

Besides, the official pointed out that the volume of trade between Tunisia and Guinea is still low and represents only 4% of the volume of Tunisian exports to Sub-Saharan countries.
