HAICA- Prime Ministry: joint committee to set criteria for appointment of ETT’s CEO

An agreement was reached on Tuesday between the Independent Broadcasting Authority (HAICA) and the Prime Ministry to form a joint committee to set the criteria and conditions for applying to the post of Chief and Executive Officer of the Tunisian Television Corporation (ETT).

The appointment of the CEO of the ETT will be on the basis of a contract of objectives and means and for a fixed period, the two parties also agreed, after a meeting held on Tuesday at HAICA headquarters between the HAICA council and a representative of the Prime Ministry and its information officer.

According to a statement from HAICA, the two parties have agreed to support the action of the committee that will be established by the regulatory body.
