President Kais Saied, spoke, Wednesday, by phone with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Supreme Vice Commander of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) armed forces.

During this conversation, President Saied and the Crown Prince exchanged greetings on the occasion of the advent of Aid El-Idha.

Quoted in a statement of the Presidency, Saied welcomed the support provided by the United Arab Emirates to Tunisia in its fight against the pandemic of COVID-19.

“The Emirati initiative reflects the strength of the “secular” brotherly relations between the two countries,” said the Presidency in the statement.

For his part, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi reaffirmed the willingness of his country to continue to support Tunisia in this delicate stage.
