On the first day of his visit to Belgium, President Kaïs Saïed met this afternoon with King Philippe of Belgium, at the Royal Palace in Brussels.
The meeting focused on the evolution and development of relations between the two countries, a source in the Presidency of the Republic said.
No statement was made at the end of the meeting.
Earlier in the day, President Kaïs Saïed had arrived in Brussels for a two-day visit (on June 3 and 4) on the occasion of the second Tunisia-European Union (EU) summit.
