“As part of the action program to support the care structures of children in difficult situations, Her Highness Princess Lalla Zineb, President of the Moroccan League for Child Protection (LMPE), chaired on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at the Lalla Amina Center in Rabat, the signing ceremony of the framework partnership agreement with the Minister of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family, Aawatif Hayar,” the LMPE said in a statement.

This partnership agreement aims to contribute to the financial support of the functioning of reception centers for children deprived of family under the League, in order to improve the quality of services provided to residents of these centers and strengthen the mechanisms of protection and institutional integration of this category of children, said the statement.

Under this agreement, the staff of the league will benefit from various training and skills development programs initiated by the Ministry for the promotion of children’s rights and social integration, added the same source.

On this occasion, HH Princess Lalla Zineb recalled the key points of the League’s action program aiming at the extension of the care centers for children separated from their family environment and the increase of the reception capacity of the existing structures, in order to meet the pressing needs of the target population, in accordance with the High orientations of HM King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him.

For her part, Hayar reiterated her department’s commitment to back the efforts made by the League in the field of child protection and to give impetus to social actions on the care, support and integration of vulnerable groups, especially children in difficult situations and with disabilities.
