HPR invites Yassine Ayari to be sworn in next Wednesday

The House of Peoples’ Representatives (HPR)’s bureau decided as it convened on Monday to invite newly elected Yassine Ayari to be sworn in next Wednesday in accordance to provisions of the parliament’s rules of procedures.

This decision comes following a correspondence addressed on January 29 by Independent High Authority for the Elections (ISIE) to the HPR on the final results of the legislative by-elections in the constituency of Germany.

Wednesday’s plenary session will also review the draft law approving the amendment on Article 14 of the Regulation on the Status of the World Tourism Organisation and draft law approving the State’s retrocession of the bond loan issued by the Central Bank of Tunis (BCT) in the international financial market, subject of agreements concluded between the BCT and a group of foreign financial establishments.

The bureau further decided to host on February 14 a plenary session to dialogue with the government in the presence of ministers of Youths and Sports, Cultural Affairs, Education and Higher Education.

ISIE had announced on January 18 the final results of the legislative by-elections in Germany that were held on December 15-17, 2017.

Yassine Ayari (Al-Amal list), won the legislative by-elections in Germany with 248 votes, i.e. 21.84% of votes.
