HPR: Pleneary sessions set for July 26,27 and 28

Three plenary sessions are set for July 26, 27 and 28 to consider a set of bills and elect the members of constitutional bodies.

MPs will continue to debate the amendment proposal of the House of People’s Representatives (HPR)’s rules of procedures on Wednesday, it was agreed at a Bureau meeting held Monday under chairmanship of Speaker Mohamed Ennaceur.

This same plenary session will see deputies elect three members to fill vacancies in the Independent High Authority for Elections (ISIE) Council as well as the members of the Constitutional Court (four out of 12 members are elected).

The HPR will continue to look Thursday at the amendment proposal of its internal rules and elect a new president of the election body, reads a HPR press release.

The draft organic law on administrative reconciliation will be looked at on Friday.
