HPR starts debating draft organic law on common provisions of independent constitutional bodies

The House of People’s Representatives (HPR) Tuesday started examining a draft organic law on the common provisions of independent constitutional bodies, in the presence of Minister for Relations with Constitutional Bodies, Civil Society and Human Rights Mehdi Ben Gharbia.

The plenary session is set to examine:

– The draft organic law on the common legislation of independent constitutional bodies

– The draft organic law providing for the creation of the Good Governance and Anti-corruption Authority.

– A draft motion to demand the resumption of diplomatic relations with Syria.

The plenary session was attended by 134 MPs and an African Parliament delegation.
