Tunisia’s Esperance ST finished fifth at the IHF Super Globe after beating Brazil’s HC Taubate 32-31 (first half: 18-16), at a placement match played Friday in Doha.

Esperance had defeated Qatar’s Al Ahli 38-22 at their first placement match on Thursday.

African champions Esperance de Tunis are the second Tunisian team to take part in this global event after Etoile du Sahel who had played the last edition in 2013 and finished fourth.
