Implementation of military co-operation agreements between Tunisia and Bahrain discussed

Defence Minister Abdelkrim Zbidi held talks on Friday with Bahrain’s ambassador in Tunis Ibrahim Mahmud Ahmed about the implementation of the military co-operation agreement between the two countries concluded in 2016.

Zbidi laid emphasis on the importance of military co-operation in strengthening the operational capabilities of the two countries’ national armies.

In this regard, he called for the consolidation of bilateral co-operation, particularly through training and exchange of expertise, according to a Department press release.

For his part, the Bahraini ambassador affirmed his country’s willingness to endeavour to boost bilateral military co-operation.
