The implementation plan of the new National Programme of Women’s Leadership Rayedet was the focus of a working session held by Minister of Women, Family and the Elderly Imen Zahouani Houimel with the participation of representatives of the International Labour Office in Tunis.

The Minister said that the start of the Program Rayedet is scheduled for late 2021, adding that the Ministry has managed in collaboration with its partners and with the support of the International Labour Office to develop its main lines, a statement issued by the Ministry of Women, Family and the Elderly said.

She stressed the need for the participation of all stakeholders in this programme to develop the final version and its adoption according to the required objectives.

During this meeting, the action programme of Rayedet, which includes 5 fundamental axes was presented. These include financial support, its added value according to the governorates, the technical support of projects, the communication strategy and the monitoring mechanisms of the project.

The Rayedet Programme of Women’s Leadership and Investment on the basis of social gender will allow the creation of 600 new projects each year and 3000 projects during the period 2021-2025.
