A patrol of the Ben Arous National Guard’s Counter-Terrorism Prevention Unit arrested on Saturday night an individual from the region, who is wanted by the security units and the judiciary for belonging to a terrorist organisation and who had been sentenced to 4 years in prison.
After consultation with the Public Prosecutor’s Office, this individual was handed over to the National Guard’s Investigation Unit in Ben Arous to initiate the necessary procudures against him, Spokesperson for the National Guard’s Directorate General said in a press release on Sunday.
