Meeting Thursday, the Joint Committee in charge of the review of protection requests issued by the whistleblowers reported the reluctance of some administrations in the implementation of the provisions of the organic law on Whistleblowing and the protection of whistleblowers.

Made up of representatives of the Prime Ministry and the National Anti-Corruption Authority (INLUCC), the Committee issued 15 decisions, 13 of which provide for protective measures, one decision was dismissed for defect of form and another for background defect.

According to a statement released today by the INLUCC, so far, six criminal complaints have been brought to the public prosecutor’s office at the courts of first instance of Tunis, Zaghouan, Sousse, Manouba and Nabeul for assault against the whistleblowers.
