EU4Innovation, the EU- funded project to support the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Tunisia. launched its fourth call for projects BOOST4TECH.
“BOOST4TECH” is geared towards structures supporting the development and activity upgrading of innovative enterprises.
The project, implemented by Expertise France – a solution provider that meets technical cooperation needs of its partners in the south – seeks to support the consolidation, structuring and sustainability of the Tunisian ecosystem of entrepreneurship and innovation, reads a press release issued on Thursday.
This call for projects is part of the support fund for strengthening the ecosystem of entrepreneurship and innovation with a total budget of TND 1.4 million dinars (445,000 pound ). This fund offers grants ranging between 224,000 dinars (pound 70,000) and 320,000 dinars (pound 100,000) for actions running from 8 to 11 months.
Target projects need to strengthen support actions and programmes for the development of innovative companies and foster the emergence of innovative projects.
Applicants need to be legal persons based in Tunisia and belonging either to a non-governmental organisation, a private sector company or a public corporation, a
non-administrative public office or to a public sector operator with sufficient financial autonomy so as to handle the overall volume of the requested grant.
An information session on the call for projects will be held on March 30.
