INP / Bardo Museum and Louvre partnership renewed

Renewing the partnership initiated in 2009 between the National Institute of Heritage (INP, Tunis) and the Louvre Museum (France) in terms of conservation and restoration of collections at the National Museum of Bardo, Louvre-Bardo patronage agreements werer signed on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the Bardo Museum around three projects: continuing of the Louvre-Bardo schoolyard with the restoration and presentation of the sculptures from the “Bulla Regia” collection and, in the long term, other collections such as Portraits of the emperors or those of Mahdia, the creation of a restoration workshop of sculptures visible to the public within the Bardo Museum itself and the creation of a diploma course in sculpture restorers.
