Interior Ministry Describes ‘Alma’ Ship Attack as ‘Premeditated’

Sidi bou said: The Ministry of the Interior described the attack, on Tuesday, on the 'Alma' ship docked at the port of Sidi Bou Said as 'premeditated.'

According to Agence Tunis Afrique Presse, the Ministry confirmed in a statement on Wednesday evening that its services are carrying out all necessary investigations and inquiries to fully uncover the facts. The aim is to inform the public, both in Tunisia and abroad, about who planned the attack, who colluded, and who carried it out.

On Tuesday evening, the 'Alma,' the second-largest vessel of the Global Sumud Flotilla aiming to break the blockade on Gaza and sailing under the British flag, was the target of an assault while docked at Sidi Bou Said port.

According to the organisers of the fleet on their official Facebook page, no injuries were recorded among those on board.
