Nabeul: National Guard units dismantled a major international network specialized in importing and distributing narcotics, following precise intelligence work. The operation resulted in the seizure of more than 420 kg of cannabis, as well as two vehicles used in the criminal activity.

According to Agence Tunis Afrique Presse, two members of the network were arrested, while a third suspect fled to an unknown location and is currently being searched for, as per a statement issued by the General Directorate of the National Guard. The statement noted that this criminal organization is run by a group of individuals based in a European country.

The Public Prosecutor's Office in Nabeul has authorized the National Guard's Central Anti-Narcotics Unit in El Aouina to continue the investigation. They have been tasked with detaining the arrested suspects and issuing wanted notices for seven additional individuals involved in this criminal operation.
