International Festival of Saharan Ksour in Tataouine closes

It is by an epic about the life of Bedouins of the south called “Najaa Al Badiya,” that the 39th International Festival of Saharan Ksour ended, Saturday, in the presence of State Properties and Land Affairs Minister Mabrouk Korchid.

Sixty horsemen, twenty actors and a hundred Bedouins with their dromedaries participated in this epic directed by Ali Boussafa.

Prizes to the three winners of the Arab thoroughbred race final were awarded at the end of festivities.

The festival which was jointly organised by the Ministries of Culture and of Tourism and Handicrafts in partnership with oil companies set up in the region, was inaugurated on March 21, with a carnival in which several popular troops from Tunisia, Algeria, Libya and Jordan took part.
