IsDB financial support stepped up over next years (minister)

The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB)’s financial assistance will increase over the next years and will help fund several projects, including support for foreign trade, electricity transmission and the building of two hospitals in Thala and Edahmani, Minister of Development, Investment and International Cooperation Zied Ladhari Wednesday told TAP on the sidelines of the 43rd IsDB Annual Meeting (April 1-5).

A document of strategic partnership with Tunisia will be signed Thursday at the closing works; this partnership, purely technical, will consist in support services for entrepreneurs in foreign trade and exportation, he further said.

Topping the agenda of the Board of Governors meeting, held Wednesday as part of the IsDB Annual Meeting, are the assessment of the group’s activity for last year and an outline of its future programmes, in particular.
