ISIE vacancies: parliament to hold extraordinary session Tuesday

The House of People’s Representative (HPR) will hold an extraordinary session on Tuesday to fill vacancies at the Independent High Authority for Elections (ISIE) and debate the draft law on financial amnesty, Mongi Harbaoui, spokesman for the HPR Bureau told TAP.

“A meeting of the heads of parliamentary blocs will be held Tuesday morning to agree on the names of candidates proposed to fill vacancies at the ISIE, while the plenary session is scheduled for 2 p.m, he said.

The Bureau of Parliament had postponed until Monday afternoon the announcement of the holding of an extraordinary session due to a procedural flaw in the relevant request submitted by the blocs of Nida Tounes and Ennahdha movements.
