Ankara: Japanese Defense Minister Gen Nakatani and his accompanying delegation visited Turkey’s leading unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) producer, Baykar, on Wednesday.

According to Anadolu Agency, Baykar announced on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal that Gen Nakatani, along with his delegation, visited the Ozdemir Bayraktar National Technology Center. “It was our pleasure to host his Excellency,” the company stated.

During the visit, Baykar’s Chairman Selcuk Bayraktar and CEO Haluk Bayraktar provided Gen Nakatani with a briefing about the company’s operations and activities. Turkish Defense Industries Secretary Haluk Gorgun was also present during the visit.
